School Psychologist | Honolulu, Hawaii
Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students in beautiful Hawaii by providing high-quality psychological services in a dynamic school environment. As a School Psychologist in this contract role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to help students thrive academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Candidates will be serving a diverse student population, working full-time over a standard 37.5-hour week. Your expertise will be essential as you conduct assessments, deliver interventions, and contribute to individualized education plans for a rewarding mix of cases.
Qualifications:
- Valid Hawaii School Psychologist license required
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or equivalent field
- Experience delivering psychological services within a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment and report writing
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education law
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide recommendations
- Serve as a consultant to teachers, administrators, and parents
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in line with state and district standards
