Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or ability to obtain licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education processes, and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a school setting preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and advocating for student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
- Interpret data to determine eligibility and develop IEP recommendations
- Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis management as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding academic and behavioral strategies
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and complete timely documentation
- Facilitate professional development and parent education workshops when requested
