- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid school psychology certification or eligibility to obtain certification
- Experience in administering psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Skilled in crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral consultation
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Able to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to identify strengths and needs of students
- Develop data-driven recommendations to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insight for educational planning
- Provide individual and group counseling for students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to implement interventions and support plans
- Monitor progress and adjust services as needed to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
