Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Understanding of current best practices in intervention, crisis response, and student support services
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support academic, behavioral, and emotional development
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Participate actively in eligibility determination meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Consult with educators and families to develop strategies for addressing learning and behavioral challenges
- Provide group or individual counseling as needed, focusing on supporting students’ emotional well-being
- Support crisis interventions and participate in the creation of safety and support plans when needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and legal standards
