Qualifications:
- Current Hawaii School Psychologist license required
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Strong communication, assessment, and counseling skills
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and behavioral interventions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and help implement IEPs and 504 plans as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Offer individual and small group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster collaborative solutions
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive learning environments and mental wellness
