Your assignment will run from August 24, 2026, through May 2027, with potential to extend for the remainder of the school year. You’ll be based in a dynamic high school environment with responsibilities that are vital to the students’ educational journeys.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Connecticut licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated school-based experience, particularly in high school settings
- Proficient in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely assessments and evaluations for students as required
- Prepare and participate in PPT meetings, providing comprehensive reporting
- Collaborate with educational and support team members to develop and implement student-centered plans
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Support the social, emotional, and academic growth of high school students
This contract offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, all onsite, ensuring you build meaningful relationships with both students and colleagues. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom for convenience and flexibility.
