School Psychologist - Meriden, CT
Step into an exciting opportunity supporting high school students as a dedicated school psychologist in the vibrant community near Meriden, CT. This is a full-time, onsite contract role beginning August 24, 2026, and continuing through May 2027, with the potential to extend through the remainder of the school year. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Connecticut
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting, preferably at the high school level
- Expertise in administering evaluations and preparing PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reports
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to work onsite and commit to a 35-hour week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychological and educational evaluations for high school students
- Prepare detailed, timely PPT reports that inform student supports and services
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to strategize interventions
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth
- Participate actively in planning and placement meetings
- Work collaboratively with parents to address student needs and progress
