Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut (CT) school psychologist licensure and certification required
- Proven experience working in a school-based environment—high school experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with evaluation tools and reporting for PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging in both assessment and consultative roles
- Ability to participate in a virtual interview via Zoom
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to high school students
- Conduct and interpret psychoeducational assessments
- Prepare detailed, insightful reports for PPT meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams for student evaluation and service planning
- Maintain thorough, confidential student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and participate in ongoing professional development
