Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut required
- Previous experience working in a school environment is a must
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and preparing PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reports
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and parents
- Comfortable managing a high school caseload, navigating diverse student needs
- Able to begin August 24, 2026, and commit through May 2027, with the possibility of an extension
What You’ll Do:
- Perform psycho-educational assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
- Lead and participate in PPT meetings, translating evaluation data into actionable recommendations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff regarding individual students and strategies for best support
- Contribute to a positive learning environment, advocating for students’ academic, emotional, and social success
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation aligned with district and state requirements
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 35 hours per week, and is fully onsite—enabling close collaboration with high school students and staff. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom for your convenience.
