School Psychologist - Minneapolis, MN
Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth in an engaging school community near Minneapolis, MN. This position spans the 2026–2027 academic year, starting August 31, 2026, and wrapping up on June 4, 2027, across both elementary and middle school levels. You'll enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with 37.5 hours each week, primarily working within one building and collaborating with dynamic education professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide counseling services and behavioral interventions for K–8 students
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to promote student success
- Support crisis intervention and student safety planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student evaluations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license, required
- Previous experience with elementary (K–5, 25–35 students) and/or middle school (6–8, 20–30 students) caseloads preferred
- Expertise in IEP development and implementation
- Strong counseling, communication, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented educational setting
- Compassionate, flexible, and student-centered approach
