This onsite school psychologist position combines consistent, meaningful interaction with students and colleagues and offers a flexible 4:1 hybrid schedule—work four days on campus with one day from home each week. The assignment runs from January 5th through June 12th, with additional days possible in case of snow-related closures, and a schedule of up to 37.5 hours per week, increased to 40 hours with prior approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological evaluations, including initial assessments and re-evaluations
- Process and manage referrals for students at elementary, high school, and potentially preschool settings
- Support a caseload with a service ratio of one psychologist per 1,000 students, across three sites
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State License as a School Psychologist required
- Eligible for OSI background check; must provide a valid driver’s license and Social Security card
- Minimum of two years’ school psychology experience strongly preferred; outstanding new graduates considered
- Familiarity with testing protocols; ability to manage a baseline of 60 initial evaluations annually
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
