School Psychologist | Tenino, Washington
Seeking an experienced School Psychologist to contribute expertise within a collaborative educational environment, serving students across elementary and select high school sites under a flexible, supportive contract arrangement. This position offers a 4:1 hybrid schedule—four days onsite with the option to work from home one day each week. The contract spans from January 5th to June 12th, with additional days possible to accommodate snow days.
You’ll serve a caseload of about 1,000 students, primarily at the elementary level, with the flexibility to work with preschool if preferred. Responsibilities include conducting assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations, managing referrals, and supporting a diverse student population across three sites. A testing baseline is approximately 60 initial evaluations annually.
Ideal candidates bring over two years of experience, though strong new graduates will be considered. A Washington State License is required, with verification of fingerprinting, a valid driver’s license, and a copy of your Social Security card necessary for onboarding.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid WA State License in School Psychology
- Over 2 years of relevant school-based experience strongly preferred
- Capacity to efficiently manage a typical caseload (1:1,000 students)
- Familiarity with testing protocols for initial and re-evaluations
- High degree of professionalism and organizational skills
- Clear background/fingerprinting records
- Valid driver’s license and Social Security card
Duties Will Include:
- Conducting and interpreting psychological and academic assessments
- Managing referrals for new and re-evaluated students
- Collaborating with educational teams to develop intervention strategies
- Maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with guidelines
Pay for this position ranges from $50-60 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
