Make a significant impact in the educational journey of students as a contract School Psychologist working with a diverse range of learners across elementary—and possibly preschool and high school—settings. Starting January 5th and continuing through June 12th (with possible extension for weather days), you'll join a supportive environment committed to student well-being and growth.
Enjoy a true work-life balance with a hybrid schedule: four days onsite and one flexible work-from-home day each week. With a standard 37.5-hour workweek (and opportunities for additional hours with advance approval), you’ll collaborate with colleagues across three school sites and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Washington State School Psychologist license (or eligibility)
- Two or more years of experience in educational or clinical settings highly preferred; strong applications from new graduates also welcome
- Valid driver’s license and a copy of Social Security card for background verification
- Comfortable handling a caseload of approximately 1,000 students, primarily at the elementary level
- Experience or interest in preschool assessment a bonus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations, both initial and for re-evaluations
- Manage referrals and provide expert input on eligibility and intervention planning
- Maintain and monitor a balanced caseload, collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Administer and interpret testing for approximately 60 initial evaluations annually, in addition to re-evaluations
Pay for this contract role ranges between $50-60 per hour, depending on your experience and credentials.
