Qualifications:
- Current licensure/certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois (or eligibility for approval)
- Experience working with K-8th grade students preferred
- Strong understanding of educational assessments, special education laws, and IEP processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to working onsite (virtual arrangements are not available)
Responsibilities:
- Perform psycho-educational evaluations and interpret assessment data to guide interventions and support plans
- Serve as an active member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights on academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop, monitor, and assist with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Consult with educators and parents to promote student achievement and positive school climate
- Provide targeted individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as needed
- Deliver staff professional development on mental health and learning challenges
