Both in-person and virtual candidates will engage in comprehensive student assessment, consultation, and intervention services to help foster successful educational experiences across multiple schools.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Minimum two years’ experience as a school psychology intern or related school-based work
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and report-writing abilities
- Comfort in using computers and common office equipment
- Aptitude for managing confidential records and complex data
- Capable of performing sedentary work with occasional lifting of 5 to 10 pounds
Responsibilities Include:
- Administering, scoring, and interpreting cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments
- Preparing detailed evaluation reports and sharing results with parents, teachers, and staff
- Providing individualized and group counseling for students
- Consulting and collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers
- Contributing to IEP teams and multi-disciplinary meetings, recommending strategies for student success
- Delivering crisis intervention and supporting district-wide crisis management programs
- Staying up-to-date on developments and best practices in school psychology
- Preparing documentation for Medicaid reimbursement and state compliance
- Participating in professional development and in-service training for teachers and parents
