Seeking a skilled and adaptable professional to provide school psychology services in an elementary-focused setting, with opportunities to work across multiple age groups, including high school and potentially preschool. This is a contract opportunity beginning January 5th and running through June 12th, with additional days possible to accommodate snow-related closures. Work up to 37.5 hours per week, with the potential for 40 hours upon prior approval.
Enjoy a unique hybrid model that allows you to be onsite four days a week and work remotely one day a week. The assignment spans three different sites, with a typical caseload of one psychologist per 1,000 students. Interview slots are available between December 15th and 19th and can be arranged to fit your schedule.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Over two years of school psychologist experience is highly preferred; strong new graduates will also be considered.
- Experience in both elementary and high school settings is desirable.
- Eligible and licensed as a School Psychologist in Washington State.
- Valid driver’s license and copy of Social Security Card are required; fingerprinting to be verified via OSI database.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing for initial evaluations and re-evaluations, completing approximately 60 initial evaluations annually.
- Address referrals and manage assigned caseloads.
- Collaborate with education staff to support student success.
- Support students at the elementary level, with opportunities to work with high school or preschool contingent on interest.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $50–$60, negotiable based on experience.
