Your work will involve approximately 50 re-evaluations, participation with the MTSS team for tier 3 supports, and implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). You’ll be joining colleagues dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student growth.
Key Experience and Skills:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Previous experience with re-evaluations, multidisciplinary teams, and MTSS preferred
- Proficiency with FBA/BIP processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and re-evaluations for referred students
- Collaborate with MTSS team, focusing on tier 3 interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor FBAs and BIPs
- Provide consultation and support for teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support conferences
