Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist (IL PSYCH) license required
- Background in assessment, consultation, and intervention strategies for adolescents
- Experience supporting high school-aged students is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to confidently manage and track a moderate caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, providing actionable recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in the development of student support plans
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions as needed
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding student needs and behavioral strategies
- Help foster a supportive, positive learning atmosphere for all students
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with applicable laws and policies
Position Details:
- Contract role based onsite near Elgin, IL
- 35 hours per week
- Caseload: Approximately 30 high school students
- Assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027
