School Psychologist | Cicero, Illinois

You’ll work with a manageable caseload (about 50 re-evaluations), participate actively in the MTSS team for tier 3 interventions, and provide expert Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). Your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in fostering student growth and cultivating a positive school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification for Illinois
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and tiered interventions
- Familiarity with FBA/BIP processes
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, caregivers, and support staff
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete re-evaluations and assessments in accordance with mandated deadlines
- Serve as part of the MTSS team for tier 3 interventions
- Conduct FBAs and develop/monitor BIPs as needed
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as assigned
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and data meetings
- Maintain thorough and confidential student records
