Role Highlights:
- Full-time, onsite contract position for the 2026-2027 school year (August 10, 2026 – May 14, 2027)
- Engage with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 high school students
- Work 35 hours weekly, focusing exclusively on delivering support and interventions where they matter most
What You’ll Need:
- Active Illinois School Psychologist license (IL PSYCH)
- Experience (or a strong desire) working directly with high school-aged students
- Familiarity with school-based assessments, report writing, and IEP meetings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, equitable learning environments and promoting student well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate in developing intervention strategies and participating in IEP/504 meetings
- Consult and partner with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines
