Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid School Psychologist credential required
- Experience in a high school setting preferred, but not mandatory
- Knowledge of assessment tools, counseling strategies, and intervention planning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
- Flexibility to travel between assigned school locations as part of an itinerant schedule
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students, individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for student-centered solutions
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management programs
- Contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Support school-wide initiatives for mental health and well-being
