Requirements:
- Valid School Psychologist credentials appropriate for Illinois public schools
- Proven experience or training in a high school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, consultation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite and in an itinerant role among different school locations
- Commitment to upholding student confidentiality and ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations, psychoeducational assessments, and write comprehensive reports
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students, teachers, and families
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral health initiatives within the school community
- Serve as a resource in the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
