Working a consistent 35 hours per week, from 8am-3pm, you'll collaborate closely with school staff, families, and students to help foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Ideal qualifications and experience include:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist credential in Illinois
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but open to both new and seasoned professionals
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with evaluation procedures, including Evals and Re-evals
- Ability to support and participate in multidisciplinary teams for IEP meetings
Key responsibilities for this contract role:
- Conduct student assessments and re-evaluations to support academic and social-emotional needs
- Lead and contribute to IEP meetings, delivering clear recommendations and advocating for student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation services as needed
- Help create supportive, inclusive school climates for all learners
