Key Qualifications:
- Current Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE) licensure
- Active Psychologist license
- Prior experience working within school settings is highly valued
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ unique needs
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer support and guidance to school staff and parents on student mental health and learning challenges
- Contribute to developing positive, inclusive school environments
