School Psychologist - Ridgeland, SC

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong background in behavioral assessments, counseling practices, and trauma-informed interventions
- Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Skilled in psychoeducational and behavioral evaluation methodologies
- Collaboration experience within an educational or pediatric mental health setting
- Familiarity with MTSS, IEP, and Section 504 processes
- Confidence in crisis response and proactive safety planning
- Effective communicator comfortable working with students, families, and school professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and small-group counseling to address emotional and behavioral needs
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations to inform student supports
- Complete FBAs and contribute to BIP development and ongoing monitoring
- Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) frameworks
- Consult and collaborate actively with teachers and families
- Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings as a valued team member
- Assist with crisis response, develop safety plans, and guide positive behavioral transitions
- Create transition programs to support successful student reintegration
